SHELL BARRIER FLUID PAIL

Shell Barrier Fluid is a high viscosity index synthetic fluid that can be used as a barrier or buffer fluid in seals. Barrier fluids are used in pressurized dual seals to isolate the pump process liquid from the environment. They lubricate and dissipate heat from the atmospheric side seal and the ID of the process side seal.
