Accounting Manager

Job Summary:
Taylor Enterprises, Inc. is a growing company looking for an Accounting Manager to grow into a Controller position. The Accounting Manager position is responsible for supporting the CFO to achieve corporate objectives and for direct management of the accounting operations of the company. This position will work closely with all other departments within the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Manage the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities of accounts payable, cash disbursements, invoicing/billing, customer credits and collections.
• Confirm financial status by monitoring revenue and expenses; coordinating the collection, consolidation, and evaluation of financial data; preparing special reports.
• Maintain accounting controls by establishing a chart of accounts; defining accounting policies and procedures.
• Maintain financial security by improving internal controls.
• Complete accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Meet accounting financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
• Assist other departments by researching and interpreting accounting policy; applying observations and recommendations to operational issues.
• Manage the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Accounting Department. Carry out supervisory responsibility in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, directing work, rewarding, disciplining employees, performance reviews, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.

• Bachelor’s in accounting or Concentration
• 5 + years of experience in accounting with managerial experience
• Credibility, ethical, full disclosure and clean financial history
• Strong communication, decision making and problem-solving skill
• Ability to Multi-task along with prioritizing work level
• Experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Prophet 21 experience a plus

Class B CDL Drivers

Are you ready to join a company that values it's employees? We are looking for honest and reliable Class B CDL (Class A ok) drivers with good driving histories for daily deliveries from our various warehouse locations. Tanker and Hazmat certification is a PLUS.

Trucks to be driven are straight box trucks or straight tank trucks. Job will generally be during normal business hours on Monday through Friday. Driver will start and end each day at the warehouse. Driver will deliver lubricants to customers and make multiple daily stops to unload product, in addition to supporting warehouse needs. Our current warehouse locations looking for drivers in Atlanta, Raleigh/Holly Springs NC, & Columbia, SC.
