Shell Omala S2 GX 68 is a high-quality extreme-pressure (EP) oil designed primarily for the lubrication of heavy-duty industrial gearboxes. It is an ISO VG 68 grade EP Gear Oil. It has a high load-carrying capacity, protection against micro-pitting, and compatibility with seals and paints. It also has excellent water separation properties, such that excess water can be drained easily from lubrication systems to help extend the life of the gears and ensure efficient lubrication of the contact areas.
